The Sino-Japan Optimization Meeting (SJOM) is one of the official conference series of the Pacific Optimization Research Activity Group. Its objective is to provide opportunities for researchers from China, Japan and Asia-Pacific regions to share their knowledge on the latest advance of optimization and related areas.

Previous conferences were held successfully in Hong Kong (2000), Kyoto (2002), Singapore (2005) and Tainan (2008). SJOM 2011 will be the 5th of the series and will take place in Beijing.
