Article 1 The Foundation of Feng Kang Prize of Scientific Computing is founded in memory of late Professor Feng Kang for his contribution to China's Computational Mathematics.

Article 2 The Academy of Mathematics and Systems Science of the Chinese Academy of Sciences is the foundation support institution, while the Institute of Computational Mathematics and Scientific/Engineering is in charge of the fund raising and organization of selecting the prize-winner.

Article 3 The Prize is honored to young Chinese Scientists in China or abroad, working in the fields of Scientific and Engineering Computing whose age should not be exceeded 50.

Article 4 The Prize is awarded every other year to at most two winners and includes a 100,000 yuan RMB monetary award and a certificate for every winner for time being.

Article 5 Young scientists satisfying Article 3 can apply the Prize provided the supports from five full professors who are not members of the Committee of Feng Kang Prize of Scientific Computing. The recommendation letters must be directly sent to the Office of Feng Kang Prize.

Article 6 The deadline of application is the 15th March in the selection year and the Prize winners will be announced before the end of September.

Article 7 The winners will be voted by the Committee of Feng Kang Prize of Scientific Computing.

Article 8 The Committee of Feng Kang Prize consists of nine distinguished experts working on computational mathematics in China or abroad, who are nominated by the Scientific Committee and approved by the Standing Committee of the Institute of Computational Mathematics and Scientific/Engineering Computing. The Committee of Feng Kang Prize is elected for a term of two years, of which one third members at least must be newed.

Article 9 The Institute should report the usage of the founds every other year. Contributors to the founds have the rights to know the services of the foundation.

Article 10 This regulation is valid from the 1st November, 2016. The right of explanation of the regulation belongs to the Institute of Computational Mathematics and Scientific/Engineering Computing of the Academy for Mathematics and Systems Science of the Chinese Academy of Sciences.
