Getting To New Era Hotel

From Nanjing Railway Station (in Chinese 南京火车站)
By subway: Take LINE ONE (toward Olympic Stadium) from Nanjing Railway Station to Zhujiang Road Station. The ride takes approximately 10 minutes. The fare is 2.00 RMB.
By taxi: The ride takes approximately 20 minutes, depending on traffic, and costs about 15.00 RMB.

From Nanjing South Railway Station (in Chinese 南京南站)
By subway: Take LINE ONE South Extension Line (toward Mai Gao Qiao) from Nanjing South Railway Station to Zhujiang Road Station. The ride takes approximately 20 minutes. The fare is 3.00 RMB.
By taxi: The ride takes approximately 30 minutes, depending on traffic, and costs about 70.00 RMB.

From Nanjing Lukou International Airport (in Chinese 南京禄口国际机场)
By bus and subway: Catch the Airport Shuttle and get off at Zhonghuamen Station. Then take subway LINE ONE (toward Mai Gao Qiao) from Zhonghuamen Station to Zhujiang Road Station.
The ride from the Lukou airport to Zhonghuamen Station takes about 40 minutes, depending on traffic, and costs 25.00 RMB. The Airport Shuttle runs every 30 minutes from 6:30 am to 9:00 pm. Telephone : 025-52480772; 025-52480058  Fax : 025-52480759
The subway ride from Zhonghuamen Station to Zhujing Road takes approximately 10 minutes. The fare is 2.00 RMB.
By taxi: The ride takes about 45 minutes, depending on traffic, and costs about 150.00RMB.

From Shanghai Pudong International Airport PVG (in Chinese 上海浦东国际机场)

　

The best way to get from Shanghai Pudong Airport to Nanjing is to take high speed bullet train from Shanghai Hongqiao train station. There are some transportation options from Pudong Airport to Hongqiao Train Station:

  1. Metro

    Shanghai Metro Line 2 can take you from Pudong Airport to Hongqiao Train Station. Do follow these transfer procedures:
    Firstly, taking Shanghai Metro line 2 at Pudong Airport for Guanglanlu direction. Secondly, making a transfer at Guanglanlu Station (change a 4-car train to an 8 car train) for Xujing East direction and just get off line 2 metro at Hongqiao Train Station.
    Cost is RMB 8 Yuan and riding time is from 105 to 115 minutes. Shanghai Metro line 2 operates from 6:30 to 21:00.

  2. Taxi

    If you are travelling with other 2-3 people, it’s not a bad solution to charter a taxi. Distance from Pudong Airport to Hongqiao Railway Station is 60km and taxi fare is about RMB 240 Yuan in daytime working hours ( from 5:00 to 23:00) and it’s about RMB 310 Yuan if you take taxi at late night (23:00 to 05:00 the next day).

  3. Airport Line

    Passenger can take airport line 1 (bus) to Hongqiao East Transportation Center and then take a walk of about 15 minutes from there to Hongqiao Train Station. Ticket fare is RMB 30 Yuan and total journey time is 65-95 minutes. Operation hour of airport line is from 6:30 to 23:00 Monday to Sunday.
    This solution may not fit you if you are visiting Shanghai first time and bring with big baggage.

From Shanghai Hongqiao International Airport (in Chinese 上海虹桥国际机场)

　
Both Hongqiao airport terminal 2 and Hongqiao railway station are the major parts of Greater Hongqiao Transport Hub. They are linked by an underground walkway, and distance of two is about 500 meter.

After passengers get off airplanes and go to Hongqiao railway station, they have two options:

1. Take metro line 2 at Hongqiao airport terminal 2 station, and Hongqiao railway station is just one station away from terminal 2. Subway takes about two minutes from station to station.

2. Walk to Hongqiao Railway Station from terminal 2. There is a walkway between two where is at B1 (underground level 1). I walked once, it took me about 10 minutes. Now both sides of walkway are under decoration, and when completed, I think it won’t be alone as many stores or restaurants accompany you.
