'99 International Conference on

Scientific and Engineering Computing for Young Chinese Scientists

(Beijing, July 1-4, 1999)

The '99 International Conference on Scientific and Engineering Computing for Young Chinese Scientists will be held in Beijing, China, July 1-4, 1999. The aim of the conference is to gather young Chinese experts in the related fields of scientific and engineering computing to report recent advances and to discuss future developments on these fields. This conference is the second one of this kind, the first one(held in 1993) was initiated by late professor Kang Feng.

The conference is organized by the Chinese Academy of Sciences, and it is sponsored by the Chinese Academy of Sciences, the National Natural Foundation of China, the Institute of Computational Mathematics and Scientific/Engineering Computing, and the State Key Laboratory of Scientific and Engineering Computing.

Notifications to all contributors will be given by May 1, 1999.
