Workshop on Mathematical and Computational Challenges in PDE Eigenvalue Problems
 May 26-28, 2008
Beijing, China
Information
Purpose:
A main goal of the workshop is to bring together researchers in various fields that involve eigenvalue problems
in partial diffential equations and related topics. The recent substantial growth of applications in the optical
and material sciences has driven the needs for mathematical models, analytic techniques, and numerical algorithms.
A main focus of the workshop is to offer a comfortable and spirited gathering to promote exchanging of ideas,
to present significant findings, and to discuss future directions of eignevalue problems.
