International Conference On Spectral and
High Order Methods (ICOSAHOM07)

 CALL FOR MINISYMPOSIA ORGANIZERS

Following the tradition of past ICOSAHOM conferences, an integral part of event shall be minisymposia. The aim of these is to highlight special topics and/or recent developments in the theory and application of high order and spectral methods.

The format of these minisymposia is intended to be that of four (4) 25-min talks on a related topic, e.g., a theoretical development or a particular class of applications. However, within a 2-hour session, the organizer has a certain amount of freedom to make changes, e.g., for a recent novel development a longer introductory talk could be beneficial. As time permits, the minisymposia may span more than one session of 2 hours.

We encourage interested organizers of such a minisymposia to submit proposals. We particularly encourage the organization of minisymposia that display the wide array of applications in which high-order and spectral methods are being used today.

It is anticipated that some funds are available to partially support travel and accomodation for minisymposia organizers.
