Following the tradition of past ICOSAHOM conferences,
an integral part of event shall be minisymposia. The aim of these
is to highlight special topics and/or recent developments in the
theory and application of high order and spectral methods.
The format of these minisymposia is intended to be that of four
(4) 25-min talks on a related topic, e.g., a theoretical development
or a particular class of applications. However, within a 2-hour
session, the organizer has a certain amount of freedom to make
changes, e.g., for a recent novel development a longer introductory
talk could be beneficial. As time permits, the minisymposia may
span more than one session of 2 hours.
We encourage interested organizers of such a minisymposia to
submit proposals. We particularly encourage the organization of
minisymposia that display the wide array of applications in which
high-order and spectral methods are being used today.
It is anticipated that some funds are available to partially
support travel and accomodation for minisymposia organizers.
