Welcome to
attend the international conference “Geometric Numerical Integration
of Differential Equations" which will be held in Beijing during September 9-13,
2019. The main theme of this conference is to discuss the latest progress of
geometric numerical integration of differential equations and its application
in recent years. The main topics included symplectic
geometry algorithms for Hamilton systems, structure-preserving algorithms in
plasma physics, energy-conserving algorithms for Hamilton ordinary and partial
differential equations, efficient numerical integration methods for high
oscillation problems, geometric numerical methods for stochastic differential
equations and so on.
The main
activities, including the opening ceremony, all the lectures and the closing
ceremony, will be held in the New Office Building of Academy of Mathematics and
Systems Science (AMSS), Chinese Academy of Sciences. The lecture sessions will
run from Monday morning until mid-afternoon on Friday, with the exception of a break
on Thursday afternoon.
We extend the
